Metal Building Outlet was the proud supplier of this prefabricated steel shop building in Terre Haute, Indiana, in September of 2019.
Spacious, sturdy and highly energy efficient, the building features rugged, high-end steel construction and stands 60’x133’x20’ in size. In use as a shop, it boasts an attractive, Light Stone-colored outside, and overhead, its roof is comprised of heavy-duty Galvalume steel panels and has a 1:12 pitch.
A high-performance insulation package lines the steel building’s roof and walls, with a layer of R-25 fiberglass insulation installed within each. The insulation package helps the interior of the space maintain consistent temperatures, and it also results in substantial energy savings for the building owner over time. Other key features and customizations include a 115-mph wind speed rating and a snow load of 30 pounds.
Located close to the Indiana-Illinois border, the city of Terre Haute is a part of west-central Indiana’s Vigo County. It sits about 75 miles west of Indianapolis and roughly 180 miles south of Chicago, Illinois.

Metal Building Outlet secured this pre-engineered metal shop building for a customer in Scottsdale, Arizona, in September of 2019.
Intended for use as a shop, the building features top-quality steel construction, resulting in unsurpassed structural integrity. Once erect, it stands 30’x30’x13’ in size, and it features a wide, clear-span design that makes the most of usable square footage. The shop’s high overhead clearance, meanwhile, improves its versatility, making the building appropriate for a broad range of uses.
The steel shop’s roof has a 1:12 roof pitch and is comprised of heavy-duty, weather-resistant metal panels. The structure also boasts a wind speed rating of 110 mph; an inclusion made in compliance with local building codes and out of respect for the typical climate characteristics of the area.
Part of Maricopa County, Scottsdale is an affluent suburb of Phoenix that bills itself “The West’s Most Western Town.” The community sits just north of Tempe, Arizona, home to Arizona State University, and it also borders Phoenix, Paradise Valley and Carefree.

Metal Shop Building in Grass Valley, California
Metal Building Outlet provided this preconstructed metal shop building in Grass Valley, California, in September of 2019.
Durable, sustainable and insulated to maximize energy efficiency, the metal building stands 30’x50’x11’6” in size and now serves as a shop. A rugged Galvalume roof with a 1:12 pitch offers protection from the elements from above, and (3) framed openings make the shop easily accessible for users. These include (2) 3070 walk door openings and (1) 8’x8’ framed opening.
Installed in the roof and walls of the shop is a layer of R-13 insulation, which prevents heated or cooled air from escaping. This helps lower the building’s energy bills while making for a more comfortable interior environment. Other key shop features and accommodations include a 30-pound snow load and a 110-mph wind speed rating; customizations made with regard for the climate patterns of the Grass Valley area as well as the building codes in place at the shop address.
The largest city in western Nevada County, Grass Valley is located in northeastern California. The area sits about 57 miles outside Sacramento and about 88 miles west of Reno, Nevada.
