Metal Building Warehouse in Longmont, Colorado

Metal Building Outlet supplied this energy-efficient metal warehouse building for a buyer in Longmont, Colorado in late October of 2014.

Boasting eye-catching gallery blue paint and a durable Galvalume roof with a 1:12 roof pitch, the 46’x80’x16’ metal building is now used as a warehouse by M & M Heating and Air Conditioning, a leading provider of HVAC installation and repair services for residents of Longmont, Boulder and surrounding areas.

Constructed using Nucor Building Systems components, the structure has a total of (20) framed openings, which include (2) 3070 steel walk doors, (2) 12’x14’ sectional doors, (2) 8’x8’ sectional doors and (4) 3030 doors. The building also features (10) skylight panels in an effort to maximize natural sunlight.

Given Longmont’s variable weather patterns and substantial seasonal snowfall, the metal building was constructed with R-30 insulation in its roof and R-19 insulation in its walls to improve energy efficiency and help the structure maintain comfortable interior temperatures year round. It was also designed with a wind speed of 110 mph and a snow load of 30 lbs.

The City of Longmont is located within both Boulder and Weld Counties in north-central Colorado. It sits about 16 miles south of Loveland and 15 miles from Boulder.

Metal Building with High Roof Pitch in Pagosa Springs, Colorado

Purchased from Metal Building Outlet in April, 2013, this 40x60x14 Garco-brand metal building now serves as a shop in Pagosa Springs, Colorado.

It features (3) 12×12 framed openings and (2) 3070 walk-doors, a wind load of 90 mph, a ground snow load (GSL) of 93 lbs. and a roof snow load (RSL) of 65 lbs. The customer opted for a higher than normal roof pitch (6:12) because he felt it improved the building’s overall appearance, and chose the high snow loads because of Pagosa Springs’ heavy snowfall, which averages 67.4 inches per year.

Pagosa Springs lies along the Colorado/New Mexico border, and this steel building spans both state lines. Pagosa Springs is nestled on the Western Slope of the Continental Divide, and lies 140 miles from Salida and 277 miles from the Colorado state capital of Denver.

Metal Building Outlet supplied this steel building in August, 2010 to a growing marble and granite company for their new operations facility. It is located in Grand Junction, Colorado.

The 75’ x 160’ x 18.5’ the metal building has light stone walls and a galvalume 1.5:12  pitched roof. It has (4) 12×12 overhead doors and (13) 18’x3′ windows

Grand Junction is the largest city in western Colorado and is in scenic Mesa County.It is approximately 85 miles from Glenwood Springs and 150 miles from the well-known ski slopes in Vail.

Steel Building in Canon City, Colorado

Metal Building Outlet supplied this top-quality Nucor-brand steel building for erection in Canon City, Colorado, in May of 2014. The buyer was traveling overseas wanted the building delivered upon his return in two weeks, which was successfully accomplished thanks to solid cooperation between the customer and Metal Building Outlet.

Sagebrush tan in color, the 40’x60’x16’ metal building now serves as a shop, and features a Galvalume roof with a 1:12 roof pitch. The steel building also features (3) framed doors, including a 12’x14’ roll-up door, a 10’x12’ roll-up door and an additional, 3070 walk door.

In preparation for Colorado’s constantly changing climate, the building was built with a wind speed of 90 mph and a ground snow load of 40 lbs.

Canon City is both a home-rule municipality and the most densely inhabited city in Fremont County, Colorado. Located in Central Colorado, Canon City lies about 40 miles outside Pueblo and 45 from the City of Colorado Springs.

Steel Building in Buena Vista, Colorado

Metal Building Outlet supplied this steel buiklding in Buena Vista, Colorado.  The building was purchased in August, 2013 and is used as an agricultural building, for storage and as a horse shelter.  This Nucor building is located in the heart of Chaffee County in the central Rockies, about half an hour drive from Salida and Leadville.

This building has high quality brick red walls and an evergreen roof (pitch 1.5:12).  It is 50’x70’x16’ and features a wind rating of 90 MPH.  The roof snow rating is 45 PSF, a rating that is considered high for some climates but not for the heart of the Rocky Mountains.

This building has six doors.  Of the six, two are 30’x30’, two are 12’x12’ overhead doors, one is a 14’x14’ overhead door and one is a walk door – 3’4”x7’2”.  Three 3’x10’ skylights flood the interior of the building with natural light.

Steel Building in Westminster, Colorado

Metal Building Outlet supplied this steel building in Westminster, Colorado. Purchased in April, 2012, the building is constructed of quality Sunward components. The walls and roof of this building are both galvanized and the finished size of the building is 40’x40’x16’. This building has two doors, one is a 12’x12’ overhead door and the other is a 3’x7’ walk door.

The building has wind and snow load features that are appropriate for its location in the plains of Colorado, near Boulder and Fort Collins. The wind and snow load recommended for this area of Adams County and nearby Jefferson County are 110 MPH and a snow load of 50 PSF.

Metal Building Outlet supplied this steel building in Aspen, Colorado, in the heart of Colorado’s High Country Pitkin County for Sunny Ranch. Aspen is about 45 miles from scenic Glenwood Springs and about 200 miles west of Denver. Being in the Colorado’s Rockies, accommodations needed to be added to make this building more sturdy for blustery blizzards and heavy snow pack.

It has a wind rating of 90 MPH and is rated for ground snow load of 81 PSF (pounds per square foot). The size of the structure is 35’x60’x16’ and the roof has a pitch of 1:12.
