Metal Building in Taos, New Mexico
Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered metal building in Taos, New Mexico in March of 2020.
Insulated, energy-efficient and engineered for its specific climate, the painted metal building now undergoes use as a shop and is 30’x30’x10’ in size. The steel workshop has a clear span design that eliminates interior columns or supports and a rugged Galvalume gable roof that provides reliable protection from the elements.
The steel workshop has (2) framed openings offering access inside. It also features 3” of WMP-VRR-faced fiberglass insulation in the roof and walls, which lowers energy costs and helps keep the interior comfortable year-round. A 115-mph wind load and an upgraded 40-psf snow load are additional features added with regard for the climate of the area and the building codes in place at the build site.
