Metal Building Outlet sourced this preconstructed steel aircraft hangar for a customer in Twin Buttes, North Dakota, in May of 2019.
Now in use as an aircraft hangar, the metal building features rugged, reliable steel construction, resulting in unparalleled protection for stored planes and helicopters. Once erect, the steel hangar stands 50’x70’x20’ in size, and it features a wide clear-span so it can easily accommodate aircraft in a range of different sizes.
Ash Gray in color, the metal hangar features (5) framed openings throughout, and these include (1) 40’x16’ opening, (2) 3070 walk door openings and (2) 14’x16’ overhead openings. Overhead, a damage- and corrosion-resistant roof made from Galvalume panels offers premium protection from the elements while boasting a 2:12 roof pitch. Other accommodations added with regard for North Dakota’s variable climate and the building codes currently in place across the region include a 43-pound snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating.
A small, unincorporated community in west-central North Dakota, Twin Buttes falls within the borders of Dunn County. The area sits about 12 miles outside Halliday and about 21 miles outside Werner.
