Metal Building in Vershire, Vermont

Metal Building Outlet provided this prefabricated metal building for a customer in Vershire, Vermont, in February of 2016.

Brick red in color with a complementing evergreen painted metal roof with a 4:12 pitch, the building stands 50’x80’x16’ in size and now serves as a shop. Crafted from premium-grade steel components, the durable, low-maintenance building has (5) framed openings inside that vary in terms of size and function. Included are (3) 12’x12’ openings, (1) 8’x6’ opening and (1) 3070 commercial walk door with a lever lock.

Also included in this project is an insulation package. Installed in both the roof and walls is R-13 metal building insulation, which not only helps to reduce energy costs, but also helps muffle outside noise while improving interior comfort year-round. The shop building also features a wind speed of 120 mph and a snow load of 60 lbs., inclusions that were made given Vermont’s typical weather patterns.

A town located within east-central Vermont’s Orange County, the town of Vershire lies about 58 miles outside Lyndon and about 31 miles from the state capital of Montpelier.
