Commercial Steel Building in Williston, North Dakota

Metal Building Outlet supplied this steel building in Williston, North Dakota in July, 2013 as a commercial warehouse in Williams County in northwestern North Dakota about an hour from Watford City and Stanley.

This Nucor building is generously sized at 120’x85’x18.5’. It features several doors, windows and an energy efficient fiberglass insulation package.  This commercial warehouse has eight doors, five of which are 14’x16’ overhead doors and three 3’x7’ walk doors.  Flooding the interior with light are six 6’x5’ slider windows. The warehouse is rated for wind speeds up to 90 MPH and to accommodate the area’s winter weather the building is rated for 43 PSF ground snow level.  The roof is insulated with a single layer of 9” R-30 insulation and the walls are insulated with a single layer of 6” R-19 insulation.

The design for the warehouse is unique in that it is a single slope roof, with center posts designed to cut costs.  This single slope roof has a 1:12 pitch.
