Insulated Metal Building in Woodland, Georgia

Metal Building Outlet secured this preconstructed steel building on behalf of a client in Woodland, Georgia, in late March of 2018.

Rugged, reliable and energy efficient, the building boasts a fully erect size of 24’x30’x12’, and it now functions as a shop for its owner. It features (5) 20’ bays and a hardwearing, corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal roof with a 3:12 pitch, and it also contains R-13 insulation within its roof and walls. The insulation package lowers energy bills associated with the workshop while helping shop users stay cool and comfortable, regardless of outside temperatures.

Also featured are (8) framed openings ranging in size, among them (1) 3070 opening, (1) 10’x12’ opening and (6) 2’x4’ window openings that allow for ample natural sunlight inside. Additional accommodations added in consideration of the wind and weather patterns common in and around Woodland include a 30-pound snow load and a 115-mph wind load. Part of eastern Georgia’s Talbot County, the city of Woodland sits about 83 miles south of Atlanta and about 70 miles west of Macon.
